Councillor Ward 3: Nader Eid

I’m running for Councillor because I believe Campbellford’s future is worth building together, and that good local government starts by listening to residents, asking better questions and understanding the facts before making decisions.

As a father, storyteller and communications professional, I have spent years helping people share their perspectives and better understand one another. Since entering this race, I have been speaking with neighbours and local businesses about the issues that shape daily life in Ward 3.

My focus is on safe and strong communities, responsible municipal spending and clear communication about council decisions. I am looking closely at OPP municipal policing costs and at practical approaches to speeding, school-zone and pedestrian safety, including better signage, road design, traffic calming and targeted enforcement.

I am also examining short-term rentals, housing and neighbourhood impacts, and whether Trent Hills should consider a clear, enforceable licensing or registration framework.

I don’t claim to have every answer. I will listen carefully, do the research, communicate openly and follow through.

Why do we do it that way? Let’s find out.
