The Municipality of Port Hope has launched a local and regional business survey to better understand supply chain readiness and energy and advanced manufacturing capabilities. The Energy and Manufacturing Sector Supply Chain Business Retention and Expansion Program aims to better understand the strengths, gaps, and growth potential of manufacturers, industrial supplies and supply chains, while positioning for growth, diversity and larger business opportunities. Julian Douglas with Port Hope and Darla Price, Executive Director of the Northumberland Manufacturing Association say the survey could grow business in Northumberland County.
