Flags in Cobourg to be lowered on Sunday in honour of firefighters

Flags across municipal buildings in Cobourg will be a half-staff Sunday in honour of Firefighters’ National Memorial Day.

This is a national day to pay tribute to those firefighters who risk their lives.

The second Sunday in September is a memorial to those who died while on duty. Flags will return to normal Monday.
