Police investigate furniture fire

Cobourg Police are investigating a suspicious fire.
Officers were called to the south end of Durham Street, just after 3 a.m. Thursday morning, and located a piece of furniture that was on fire.
Police were able to extinguish the flames before the Cobourg Fire Department arrived to ensure the fire was fully extinguished.
No property damage was reported. Anyone with video or who witnessed the incident is asked to contact police.
