Relive the Tragically Hip National Celebration

Ten years ago, an estimated one-third of all Canadians shared in what became one of the most memorable moments in the country's musical history – the CBC live presentation of The Tragically Hip: A National Celebration.

To celebrate that anniversary, Experience Cobourg is inviting residents and visitors for a free outdoor watch party at the Cobourg Marina (103 Third St.) on Saturday, Aug. 22 - just a short drive south of where the Hip played at the Cobourg Community Centre in 2013.

The Cobourg Yacht Club will operate the licensed bar, and food will also be available for purchase. It is suggested that attendees arrive well before the 8 p.m. presentation to set up their lawn chairs, enjoy music, purchase their refreshments and take in the atmosphere at this celebration of music and memories.

Attendees are also advised to review parking options in advance at www.Cobourg.ca/Parking, which include three hours of free downtown parking in applicable zones.
