A Roseneath man is facing impaired driving charges following a traffic stop in Cobourg Monday.

Authorities allegedly stopped a vehicle in the area of King Street East and Brook Road North for no front license plate.

Officers claim to have observed signs of impairment, cannabis and paraphernalia in plain view. Police say officers seized several other license plates, registered to other owners, inside the vehicle.

The unidentified 20-year-old driver was later released with a future court date.
