Police say officers were called to a home on Fred Pratt Street around 11:20 PM after receiving a report of a break and enter. Surveillance footage shows two unidentified individuals entering the residence by smashing a sliding glass door at around 6:40 PM while the home was unoccupied. Police say the suspects remained inside for approximately 30 minutes before leaving the property.

Jewellery was reported stolen.

Police have canvassed the area and the investigation remains ongoing. Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity or has information related to the break and enter is asked to contact Cobourg Police or Crime Stoppers. Tips provided to Crime Stoppers may be eligible for a cash reward.
