Canada Day festivities in Grafton will kick off with a parade on Sunday June 28. ‍

The parade will begin at 1:00 pm in the parking lot of St. Mary Catholic Elementary School and proceed along Old Danforth Road and County Road 2 to the Haldimand Memorial Arena and Recreation Complex.

Following the parade, attendees can enjoy a wide variety of activities at the Haldimand Memorial Arena and Recreation Complex.

Families can look forward to the Firefighter Obstacle Course, Story Walk and crafts provided by Alnwick/Haldimand Public Library, bouncy castles, free hot dogs, EarlyON fun, and live music from the Colborne Library Ukelele Band. ‍

New this year is the Bubbleology Show, featuring Miss T the Bubble Queen.  Combining science, art, and entertainment, this interactive performance promises to engage audiences of all ages. ‍The day’s festivities will wrap up with the ceremonial cutting of the Canada Day cake and the annual Civic Awards recognizing individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the community.

Registration is now open for float requests.
