By Cecilia Nasmith

The Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation announces that its annual Wine & Ale in the Park is set for June 25, 6 to 9 p.m. under the Lions Club of Cobourg tent in Victoria Park.

And tickets go on sale as of 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 20.

Proudly presented for the 11th year by local realtor Tony Pulla Re/Max Rouge River Realty Ltd., the event features pairing stations offfering local cuisines and a variety of wines and ales from Northumberland-area vendors.

Participating food vendors include The Mill Restaurant & Pub, Toller Pizza, Everyday Chef's Best, Prep Food Co. and Dalewood Golf Club.

Drink options will include selections from confirmed drink vendors Ganaraska Brewing Company, Cold Springs Brewery and more. Returning this year – a Mocktail option will be offered for those who prefer a beverage without alcohol.

“Wine & Ale has become one of the community's most anticipated evenings, because it brings people together for a fun social night in support of local health care,” Foundation Chief Executive Officer Rhonda Cunningham said in the announcement.

“We look forward to welcoming new and returning guests, and are especially grateful to have Tony Pulla join as our presenting sponsor once again. His long-standing commitment speaks volumes about his dedication to our hospital and community.”

Guests are encouraged to purchase their tickets early, as this event sells out quickly. Visit www.nhhfoundation.ca to make your purchase – tickets are $100 (with a limit of six per transaction) and include two beverage vouchers and samplings of delicious foods. Additional beverage vouchers will be available at the event at $8 each.
