The Town of Cobourg announces road closures, pedestrian closures and parking lot closures that will begin Wednesday, April 29, for the annual Cobourg Marina boat lift-in and hauling operations.

The spring boat lift will occur the weekend of May 2 and 3, with hauling operations taking place Thursday and Friday, April 30 and May 1.

Road and parking lot closures that begin April 29 include the Cobourg Marina parking lot, Division Street south of the Esplanade, and the Esplanade. Not fully closed but subject to delays are the areas of Hibernia Street south of Third and Third Street between Hibernia and the Esplanade.

Please note that the closures include pedestrian traffic at times when public safety requires people be kept out of the path of heavy-equipment operations. Every effort will be made to open walkways and roads when safe to do so amidst the preparation and hauling procedures.

The Town of Cobourg and Cobourg Waterfront Operations staff thank you for your patience and consideration during this annual preparation for the summer season.
