No threat of firearm at school: Cobourg Police

Cobourg Police say there was no threat to public safety, following an investigation into alleged threats referencing a firearm at a local elementary school.

Authorities say Thursday evening reports from residents indicated a student allegedly making a threat involving a firearm at a local elementary.

After an investigation police determined there was no threat was identified, and allegations involving a firearm were determined to be false or misleading.
