Cobourg man facing theft charges

A Cobourg man is facing charges for allegedly rummaging through vehicles.

Police were called early Sunday morning to the area of Elgin Street West and Strathy Road, advising that a man was going through vehicles at a business and fled from security when approached.

Police located the man. The man was arrested and charged with theft under $5000.
