The Town of Cobourg Community Services Division has announced that the downtown will be the site of filming on Monday, Jan. 12.

Filming locations will include the exterior of Victoria Hall (55 King St. W.) and The EL (74 King St. W.).

Preparation for filming will take place the weekend prior to Jan. 12, and tear-down will take place Tuesday.

No full road closures are planned, but the production company will be using several municipal lots and designated on-street parking spaces, paying applicable rates. The lots in use will be the Trinity Lot, the Albert Street Lot and the Cobourg Marina. The on-street spaces will be on Second Street and on the south side of King between Third and Spring streets.

The announcement did not specify what is being filmed, but did say that US flags will temporarily replace Canadian ones along King Street including a US flag to be installed Monday only in front of Victoria Hall.
