Anyone interested in reserving a spot in Cobourg's Victoria Park campground this summer should be standing by at 9 AM on Monday, Feb. 2 – when reservations open.

The announcement said a new campground-reservation platform will be introduced this season that “aligns with the town's ongoing work to improve customer service and modernize systems.” It is hosted on ACTIVE Network.

It requires that all campers, including returning guests, create a new on-line camper profile before making a reservation, and it is recommended that this be done ahead of time.

Visit ExperienceCobourg.ca/Campground and click on How to Build a Customer Profile. Click Create Account (located in the top right corner of the ACTIVE Network web page). Enter your e-mail address and click Next

On the Sign Up page, fill in your information as prompted. Create a password for your account and click Next.

Complete the remaining required fields and select Create Account. An e-mail will be sent to activate your account. Click the link in the e-mail to log in to your account.

Then, at 9 AM Feb. 2, you can book your stay over the phone (at 1-800-224-7504) or on-line. A valid credit card is required to complete your registration.

For more information, call 905-372-7321, e-mail campgroundinfo@cobourg.ca or visit in person – the Campground Office is located at the Cobourg Marina (103 Third St.), open weekdays 9 AM to 3 PM.
