Filming for “Ginny and Georgia,” to take place on Cobourg next month

Filming for season four of  Netflix series “Ginny and Georgia” will be taking place early next month in Cobourg.

Filming preparation: Sunday, October 5, and Monday, October 6. Filming will take place on Tuesday, October 7 (6:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.). Tear down: Wednesday, October 8.

Parking will be impacted across the downtown at:  Second Street Lot (northwest portion only), Albert Street Lot, Trinity Lot, Centennial Pool Lot, On-street spaces near Harbourlight Delights, The El, and select spaces on Charles Street, Division Street, and King Street West, Esplanade East Lot, and Victoria Park Campground.

The El on King Street, Victoria Park and Harbourlight delights are filming locations. McGill and Queen Streets will see road closures.


On October 7, a trained coyote will be featured in a controlled scene in Victoria Park. The coyote will be handled by a licensed team of animal coordinators, with all safety protocols in place.
