Port Hope

If there's anything better than Frankie Valli, it's got to be two Frankie Vallis.

That's the premise behind the new show at Port Hope's Capitol Theatre, How We Got To Jersey: A Tale of Two Frankies.

For those who loved Jersey Boys – and those who wanted to see it but never got the opportunity – the music alone is a powerful draw, as the show is described as “a concert review that takes you behind the scenes of the blockbuster Broadway smash hit.”

And for those who want to keep their elbows up, the write-up continues, “find out how two small-town Canadian kids grew up to both play a bonafide Rock And Roll Hall of Fame superstar on stages around the world, to an audience of millions.”

The two Frankies are played by Adrian Marchuk and Jeff Madden, who will perform such Jersey Boys favourites as Sherry, Walk Like A Man, Big Girls Don't Cry and Can't Take My Eyes Off of You.

There are four shows, running Oct. 24 through 26, at the Capitol. For ticket information, visit capitoltheatre.com
