AUDIO: Community Care Northumberland on the hunt for a new CEO as Trish Baird retires

It’s the end of an era for Community Care Northumberland as longtime CEO Trish Baird is retiring at the end of this year.

Baird, who has served in that position for 36-years has transformed the organization from 12 employees and a few hundred staff to a $6 million-a-year non-profit with 100 employees and 560 volunteers.

She has overseen the expansion of services with Community Care Northumberland now offering nutrition, transportation, wellness and in-home and hospice services.

Baird says she has been thinking about retiring for a while, to spend more time with her family, but admits she’s done all she can for the organization and that new leadership is needed.
