Cramahe Township

Cramahe Township is extending warming-facility capacity announced earlier this week for residents affected by power outages that persist following last weekend's ice storm.

The Keeler Centre (80 Division St.) offers a place to charge electronics, access showers and gather water. In addition to weekday hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., it will be open Saturday, April 5, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 pm. and Sunday, April 6, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

No food will be offered here, and children must be supervised at all times. As well, power outages have been occurring, so availability depends on stable power.

In addition, the Colborne Library (6 King St. W.) is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, as well as 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, offering washrooms and a warm space.

Castleton Library (1780 Percy St.) will also be open Saturday, April 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m,
