Cobourg

The Town of Cobourg informs residents of upcoming closures of roads, pedestrian routes and parking lots that will begin May 8 for the Cobourg Marina's annual boat lift-in and hauling operations.

The spring boat lift will take place Saturday, May 10, with hauling days May 8 and 9.

Road and parking lot closures include:

The Cobourg Marina parking lot

Hibernia Street south of Third (not a full closure, but expect delays)

Third Street between Hibernia and The Esplanade (also not a full closure, but expect delays)

Division Street south of The Esplanade

The Esplanade

Please note that these enclosures include pedestrian traffic, as these operations include heavy equipment. Every effort will be made to open walkways and roads when safe to do so between preparation and hauling procedures.

The Town of Cobourg and Cobourg Waterfront Operations staff thank you for your patience and consideration as the boats are moved in preparation for another summer season.
