Suspicious package being investigated in Port Hope

Port Hope Police say the scene at Greenwood Towers has now been cleared.

Authorities say there is no threat to public safety. Earlier today, police evacuated residents as they investigated a suspicious package.

One person is in custody and the investigation continues.
