The Town of Cobourg is closing Victoria Hall to the public at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, to accommodate testing taking place for the generator relocation construction project.

This involves the permanent installation of the existing generator at Victoria Hall. The diesel generator, now located in a trailer behind the main Victoria Hall building at 55 King St. W., will be removed and a new pad on the southwest side of Victoria Hall will be installed. This work is expected to be completed by year-end.

For those who might be looking for a temporary warming space, the Cobourg Public Library at 200 Ontario St. is open until 8 p.m. that day.

For any questions, contact Customer Service at customerservice@cobourg.ca or call 905-372-4301 ext. 9518.
