The Norwood Curling Club has undergone major renovations. A $166,000 Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant was used this summer to complete work, including the replacement of the roof over the curling surface.

"This Ontario Trillium Foundation grant allowed the Club to replace the roof and thereby significantly extend the life of this vital community building and ensure that it remains available for years to come,” said Jason Ferguson, President of the Norwood Curling Club.

“The building is completely accessible and is available for rentals to all community groups for meetings, weddings and other social gatherings.”

The Club replaced the original roof on its century old facility. The building that houses the ice surface is a key venue for the annual Norwood Fair and is used year-round for a variety of community events, weddings, and gatherings.
