Garbage collection may be delayed due to weather

Waste and recycling pick up in parts of the County may be delayed today due to the weather and poor road conditions.

Officials advise if collection does not occur by 7 p.m. this evening, remove your waste and recyclables from the curbside and place them out again on your next regularly scheduled collection day.

If a delay occurs, curbside waste collection limits will be temporarily increased to four waste bags per household on the next scheduled collection day, in areas affected by the delay only.
