Northumberland Hills Hospital has launched an on-line auction in support of its 25th-anniversary gala, A Silver Soiree.

More than 150 items and experiences are up for grabs, with the auction remaining live for bidding until 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14.

Auction Chair Therese Brennan-Hunt said the support from business and individuals across the community – both returning and new – has been outstanding.

“Thanks to their incredible generosity, this is our largest auction yet, and there truly is something for everyone,” Brennan-Hunt declared.

Proceeds from the auction, as well as those from this year's gala, will help fund Endoeye Scopes for the hospital's Surgical Services program. This special type of camera is used during minimally invasive surgeries to give the surgeon a clear, high-definition view inside a patient's body – not only making surgeries faster and more precise, but also allowing for faster patient recovery.

Visit www.NHHGala.ca for a full listing of items, and to place your bids until 2 p.m. Nov. 14.

For more information about the auction or A Silver Soiree, contact Courtnye Ker at cker@nhh.ca or 905-372-6811 ext. 3068.
