Cobourg Police investigating two alleged retail store thefts

Cobourg Police are investigating two alleged thefts believed to be connected.

Police responded to reports from both stores on Elgin Street West regarding theft incidents that took place on Sunday at approximately 4:00 p.m. In the first case, two female suspects allegedly stole approximately $2,500 worth of merchandise.

In the second incident, two female suspects allegedly stole approximately $60 worth of merchandise from a store in close vicinity to the first. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
