Hamilton Township man chraged with drug offenses

A Hamilton Township man is charged with drug offenses following a traffic stop by Cobourg Police Wednesday.

Officers made the stop as the driver was accused of having an outstanding warrant.

Police allege the passenger Kyle Greider was in possession of suspected fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine.

Authorities claim to have seized approximately 379 grams of suspected Fentanyl, 45.64 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine and a quantity of cash.

The amount of Fentanyl is equal to a potential 3,790 lethal doses. The estimated total street value of the drug seized is approximately $156,200. Greider was held for a bail hearing.
