Cobourg woman charged following drug raid

A Cobourg woman is facing charges following a drug bust Wednesday.

Police from Cobourg and Port Hope stopped a vehicle on County Road 45 near Dunbar Road. Three people were taken into custody.

Police then raided a house on University Avenue East and Division Street, allegedly seizing 31 grams of cocaine and $1000 in cash.

Emma Sughrue is charged, while the two other people in the vehicle were released. She was held for a bail hearing.
