Northumberland OPP are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspected hit and run vehicle.

Police responded to the intersections of County Road 30 and 35 near Campbellford late on October 18, on a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a passenger vehicle and a pedestrian.

It is believed to have arisen out of an incident where one motorist stopped, exited their vehicle and was then struck by the other vehicle before leaving the scene.

The complainant described a white Nissan Qashqai with a plate similar to DMV711 and had yellow backing, in the format of a service plate.

The driver was believed to be a male in their late 50's or in their 60's. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
