OPP investigating home apparent home invasion and robbery on Dudley Road

One person was treated for non-life-threatening injuries in hospital, following an alleged home invasion and robbery in Alnwick/Haldimand Township early Friday morning.

OPP says just before 4 AM several people entered a home on Dudley Road and assaulted the complainant.

Police say two men suspected in the incident left before authorities arrived.

Apparently jewelry was stolen. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
