Re-Elect Miriam Mutton for Cobourg Councillor
Informed Effective Approachable Collaborative Dedicated Accountable
I will continue to work on your behalf to facilitate good governance, to foster open communication and to initiate action in support of a healthy and vibrant community. Together, we will build upon what we do well and we will work towards an even better quality of life in Cobourg.
I have been a Cobourg business woman and community advocate for more than 36 years. Learning is a lifelong pursuit, and in 2015 I completed graduate studies in Sustainability Studies at Trent University. As a landscape architect in private practice 1989 - 2025, a garden design specialist, I continue to research and promote solutions in tune with both built and natural environments.
As an elected representative of the Citizens of Cobourg, I believe it is integral to my role and responsibilities to be well informed and prepared about matters coming before Council. Along with developing policies, reviewing annual budgets and providing direction to Administration, Council hears from Citizens about what is important to our community, today and for our future.
Priorities
Ensuring open communication
Building a healthy economy and a thriving community
Protecting the environment for our sustainable future
Working with Council to provide clear direction to Administration
Preserving Cobourg’s valuable assets for all Citizens
