Cobourg Police raid two homes on John Street Thursday, seizing large quantity of drugs

Four people are facing charges in what Cobourg Police describe as a significant drug bust.

Police raided two homes on John Street early this morning.

Officers from Cobourg, Port Hope, the OPP and Belleville police joined forces in executing a search warrant at 351 and 353 John Street.

Police allege they seized approximately 344.5 grams of fentanyl, 125 grams of cocaine, 46 grams of heroin and 3.5 grams of crystal methamphetamine. Crossbows and imitation firearms were also taken in the raid.

The estimated street value of the drugs seized is $240,625. The amount of fentanyl seized is equivalent to 3,445 potentially fatal doses.

Cobourg residents Mark Gordon, Shauna Wilson, Kayla Gibson and Andrew Puffer are charged. They were all held in custody pending a bail hearing.
