Northumberland County is inviting parents, caregivers and those planning a family to provide input about their child-care needs and experiences through an on-line survey that will help shape current and future local child-care services.
The announcement said that data collected from the survey will inform Northumberland County’s development of future Early Years business plans and long-term strategies that will guide the vision, goals and service-delivery model for child care and early-years services throughout the county.
“Recently, Northumberland County has seen a significant rise in the demand for local child-care services,” Early Years Services Manager Lesley Patterson said in the press release.
“As we continue to refine our child-care programs and plan for future services, we are seeking feedback from local families to make sure our resources are directed to areas of greatest need.
“This valuable feedback will help shape the future of local child-care and early-years programming to ensure it continues to meet the evolving needs of parents and caregivers, now and into the future.”
The on-line survey takes about 10 minutes to complete, and those who complete the survey by Feb. 28 will be entered to win one of two gift cards to Chapters/Indigo or Winners.
