Northumberland has seen a surge in Bear sightings, but Jolanta Kowalski, a spokesperson from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry says there is no need to panic.

Kowalski says injuries from bear sightings are very rare and gives advice on how to keep the bears away.
