The Northumberland Community Employment Resource Partnership invites local job seekers to showcase their skills at the annual Northumberland County Job Fair March 4, from 4 to 6 p.m at the Cobourg Lions Community Centre at 157 Elgin St. E.
More than 24 local employers will be seeking applicants for more than 100 various jobs and summer-student opportunities.
It is expected that some employers will take this chance to conduct on-site interviews with qualified applicants for positions in such sectors as food services, health care, landscaping, retail and customer service, and manufacturing (including skilled trades and general labourers). Job seekers are encouraged to arrive dressed in interview-appropriate attire and to bring multiple copies of their cover letters and resumes.
