Support the Orange Door campaign at Cobourg's Home Depot will translate into support for Cornerstone Family Violence Prevention Centre.
Cornerstone has announced that the store will have its annual Orange Door project this year from Dec. 3 to 22, where customers will have the option of donating $2 (or more) at checkout – as well as on-line at orangedoorproject.ca.
All donations made locally will help Cornerstone provide essential services to women and children impacted by family violence throughout Northumberland County.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Orange Door Project and partner with our local store once again this holidays season,” Cornerstone executive director Nancy Johnston said in the press release,
“The continued commitment Home Depot Canada Foundation has to working together on providing essential services to women, children and youth in our community is very empowering or our organization, as it allows us to raise funds on a larger scale than what we could do on our own.”
This fundraiser is part of the Home Depot Canada Foundation's Orange Door Project, which aims to prevent and end youth homelessness in Canada. For more information, visit orangedoorproject.ca.
