Cobourg Police Execute Third Drug Warrant in Two Weeks

The Cobourg Police Service has executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances act warrant as part of an ongoing enhanced enforcement strategy targeting illegal drug activity affecting our community and the safety of our citizens.
On Thursday the 14th day of November, 2019 as part of a drug enforcement operation, members of the Cobourg Police Service Criminal Investigations Branch, Uniform Patrol, Cobourg Police Emergency Support Team, Forensic Identification Services and the Peterborough Police Service K9 Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a John Street residence in Cobourg.
As a result of this investigation and search, police seized a small quantity of cocaine and methamphetamine (Street value of approximately $300). The following persons were charged:
Patrick MILLAR, 56 years of age, of Cobourg is charged with:
1) Possess Schedule 1 Substance — Cocaine — contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
Cody PUFFER, 30 years of age, of Cobourg is charged with:
1) Possess Schedule 1 Substance — Methamphetamine — contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
2) Fail to Comply with Probation contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code
Amanda LEBOLD, 29 years of age, of Cobourg is charged with:
1) Possess Schedule 1 Substance — Methamphetamine — contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
2) Fail to Comply with Probation contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code
Mark Whitefield, 45 years of age, of Cobourg is charged with:
1) Possess Schedule 1 Substance — Methamphetamine — contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
2) Fail to Comply with Probation contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code
All four arrested parties were deemed suitable for release from the Station. All were subsequently released on a Promise to Appear and an Undertaking with conditions with a future court date in January 2020.
