PC Nomination Candidate David Piccini Ready for Change
While the provincial Liberals were celebrating Lou Rinaldi’s nomination as the candidate for Northumberland – Peterborough South, David Piccini the Progressive Conservative Nomination Candidate was also active last night.
He attended a house gathering event in Cobourg where the Honourable Pauline Browes was also in attendance. The event was part of his crisscrossing of the Riding to meet voters and discuss issues that confront the community.
Piccini, who grew up in Port Hope, said he would fight for the shared values and priorities of the Riding.
When asked about the challenges facing the province Piccini said, “We’re ready to get Ontario moving again. There’s going to be no shortcuts to getting this province back on track with prosperity and responsible governance."
"The next government of Ontario will face unprecedented challenges left behind by this tired and scandal ridden Liberal government. Challenges such as, out of control hydro costs, high deficits and growing unsustainable debt, which means less money available for services Ontarians depend upon. We’re ready for change in Ontario.”
