On Saturday, May 7th, the local community gathered at the Keeler Centre in Colborne and online through Northumberland 89.7 FM to show their support for Ukes for Ukraine.
The fundraising event raised over $9000.00 which is going to the International Red Cross Foundation and the Canada - Ukraine Foundation .
Extra tables were set up...over 250 people were in attendance, with 285 dinners prepared. There was a line-up of people at the door at 5pm waiting for admission.
